With Windows 10 officially ending support, many PC users who do not meet the Windows 11 system requirements are placing their hopes on third-party tools, including Flyoobe. However, the app's developers made no secret of their strong dissatisfaction with Microsoft and the current state of Windows when they released the latest version.

Flyoobe's latest 2.2 version brings performance improvements and memory optimizations, but the developer took direct aim at Microsoft in the release notes, writing:
"Further speeding up application startup and reducing memory usage, it's never the bloated XAML/WinUI monster that Windows 11's Start menu or Explorer was...but, every millisecond counts."

The developer was vocal about his frustration with Microsoft: "Maybe one day they'll fix the real performance issues instead of adding another glowing Copilot button.Honestly, it's heartbreaking to watch an operating system you once loved being brought down by the wrong priorities and decisions."
The latest version 2.2 of Flyoobe has been released on the official GitHub.
