On the 3rd of this month, Blue Arrow Aerospace’s Zhuque-3 reused a launch vehicle and was launched into orbit. This is the first time in China that a launch vehicle has attempted first-stage recovery.Although the recovery mission failed, it was a glorious defeat and accumulated valuable experience for the follow-up.Recently, Blue Arrow Aerospace disclosed the key technical details of the first-stage recovery verification.

It is understood that after completing the first-level separation, the first stage of Zhuque-3 will carry out flight verification of vertical recovery technology as planned.

The relevant person in charge of Blue Arrow Aerospace said,The rocket has gone through the most challenging "supersonic re-entry aerodynamic glide phase" of a recyclable rocket.

This stage requires traveling through the maximum dynamic pressure environment, which places extremely high requirements on the structural thermal protection system, overall aerodynamic layout design, and attitude control capabilities. The flight data accumulated through the flight process has laid a solid foundation for iterative improvements in subsequent models.

at the same time,The rocket achieved high-precision guidance and control of the landing pad recovery point in both the re-entry ignition stage and the aerodynamic taxiing stage.

The verification includes the composite control strategy of the cold air reaction control system and grid rudder, as well as the correctness of the corresponding guidance algorithm.

This test further consolidated my country's engineering practice foundation on the technical route of liquid oxygen methane recyclable launch vehicles and explored a feasible path for my country to realize one-stage recovery.
