ASUS's dual-screen notebooks have a long history and are constantly innovating. The new generation of Zenbook Duo will be displayed at CES 2026 early next month. According to the official trailer video released by ASUS,The new Lingyao dual-screen notebook will use a unique dual-battery design, with one on the screen side and one on the keyboard side, both built-in.

The specific capacity is not mentioned, but the current Lingyao dual screen has 75Whr (nominal battery life of 13 hours). The dual battery may reach 99.99Whr?
Lenovo ThinkPad T580 also uses dual batteries, but only one is built-in and the other is removable.
There are certainly pros and cons to dual batteries:The advantage is that the capacity is larger and the battery life is longer; the disadvantage is that it further takes up space (dual screens already lead to a shortage) and increases weight.

The video also shows the new hinge design, which has a precise structure and is presumably lighter and more durable.
The specific configuration is not mentioned. But it will definitely be Intel Panther Lake, i.e. Core Ultra 300 series, higher energy efficiency, and with a large battery life, there is no need to worry about it.
The current Lingyao dual screen is available with Meteor Lake's highest Core Ultra 9 185H, or Arrow Lake's highest Core Ultra 9 285H.
