Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the "Automotive Industry Price Behavior Compliance Guidelines (Draft for Comments)", which clearly pointed out that in addition to reducing prices in accordance with the law to deal with the backlog of goods, automobile manufacturers use other methods to make the actual ex-factory price lower than their production costs, etc. There are significant legal risks.

At the same time, it is mandatory to clearly mark the price.Vehicle configuration, price, promotion rules and other information must be clearly displayed on the business premises or online platform, and price additions are strictly prohibited.

The seller must also clearly inform consumers of the exact delivery time before the transaction and write it into the contract. Upgrade the delivery date from "approximate" or "estimated" to a legally binding date. The delivery time must be clearly agreed in the contract, and any violation of the agreement will result in liability for breach of contract.

After the "Draft for Comments" was released,At present, car companies such as Great Wall, Changan, Xpeng, BAIC, and BYD have expressed support and promised to optimize the price management system, maintain a fair competitive environment, and promote the healthy development of the industry.

Among them, BYD, the domestic car sales leader, pointed out in a statement:
