At TGA, Crystal Dynamics announced "Tomb Raider: Ruins of Atlantis", which is scheduled to be released in 2026 and will be launched on PC Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.

"Tomb Raider: Ruins of Atlantis" is a reinterpretation based on the original version that debuted in 1996 and established the series' classic status. It was jointly developed by Crystal Dynamics and the Flying Wild Hog team. It was rebuilt from scratch using the Unreal 5 engine. It provides a gorgeous reinterpretation of representative scenes, adding immersive sound design, modern game mechanics and new surprises, while highlighting the classic spirit of paying homage to the original work.

They will have adventures across the jungles of Peru, Greek monuments, Egyptian deserts, and even the mysterious Mediterranean islands. Travel through treacherous terrain, unlock deadly traps, confront dangerous predators, find fragments of Xian'an scattered everywhere, and explore the infinite power behind this artifact.

Officials stated that whether you are an experienced player or are new to the world of Tomb Raider, "Tomb Raider: Ruins of Atlantis" will bring you stunning visual effects, modern game design and new surprises created by Unreal 5, while allowing you to experience the spirit and adventurous atmosphere of the original work.
