"Zootopia 2" has officially surpassed the billion-dollar global box office mark, reaching this astonishing milestone in just 19 days and breaking multiple records in the process. This animated sequel has grossed over US$500 million at the box office in the Chinese market alone (currently the domestic box office has exceeded RMB 3.4 billion), becoming the second film in Hollywood history to achieve this result in a single overseas market. This achievement firmly ranks it among the highest-grossing animated films in film history.

In the Chinese market, "Zootopia 2" performed strongly in its third weekend, earning US$55.4 million at the box office, setting the second-highest third-weekend box office record for a Hollywood animated film in a single market. The film is currently less than US$130 million away from surpassing the total box office record of US$632.1 million set by "Avengers 4: Endgame" in China.

In North America, the box office of "Zootopia 2" has exceeded US$250 million and is expected to surpass "How to Train Your Dragon" to become the eighth highest-grossing film in North America in 2025.

In overseas markets, the sequel grossed US$131.1 million in the third weekend, a decrease of only 40.1%. It has now grossed a total of US$877.7 million in international box office in 53 markets. Including North American revenue, the global box office of "Zootopia 2" reached approximately US$1.14 billion. This outstanding performance ranks it eighth on the box office list of animated films in history, surpassing "Moana 2", "Toy Story 3" and "Toy Story 4".

In "Zootopia 2" Judy and Nick have become official partners of the Zootopia Police Department, and the story focuses on their investigation of a new case involving the mysterious reptilian villain Gary Snake.
