The State Administration for Market Regulation issued a recall announcement today, recalling a number of Toyota models. The following is the detailed announcement of the recall:
1. Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd.
Recall number S2025M0185V: From now on, some imported Shiji vehicles produced from June 20, 2023 to September 23, 2025, a total of 161 vehicles, will be recalled;
A total of 19,082 imported Lexus LM, LX, LS, LC, GX, RX, NX, ES, and RZ vehicles produced from March 31, 2021 to September 12, 2025;
A total of 36,275 partially imported Toyota Alphard, Crown Wilfa, Crown, Crown SportCross and MIRAI vehicles were produced from May 31, 2022 to September 8, 2025.
2. FAW Toyota Motor (Chengdu) Co., Ltd.
Recall number S2025M0186V: Starting from now, some domestic Prado cars produced from July 16, 2024 to September 27, 2025, a total of 28,654 vehicles, will be recalled.
3. GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd.
Recall number S2025M0187V: Starting from now, some domestically produced Front Landa vehicles produced from March 30, 2023 to August 29, 2025, a total of 1,363 vehicles;
A total of 1,566 partially domestically produced bZ4X vehicles were produced from November 15, 2022 to August 22, 2023; a total of 3,302 partially domestically produced BZ4X vehicles were produced from December 4, 2023 to August 28, 2025.
4. FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd.
Recall number S2025M0188V: Starting from now, some domestic bZ4X cars produced from September 7, 2022 to February 24, 2023, a total of 2,417 vehicles;
A total of 1,061 domestic Corolla Ruifang cars were produced from March 31, 2023 to February 27, 2025; a total of 1 domestic Asia Lion car was produced from September 14, 2023.
Vehicles within the scope of this recall,Due to improper design of the control program of the panoramic monitoring system, if the driver performs operations such as reversing immediately after starting the vehicle, the panoramic image may be misaligned, temporarily stuck, or unable to be displayed, affecting the driver's judgment of the vehicle's surrounding environment and posing safety risks.
For recalled vehicles, Toyota after-sales dealers will upgrade the panoramic monitoring system control program for free for vehicles within the recall range to eliminate safety hazards.
