Today, Loongson Zhongke released a record of investor relations activities to introduce the company's GPGPU R&D plan and progress. Loongson Zhongke said,9A1000 has been delivered for tape-out, and there are follow-up development plans for 9A2000 and 9A3000.
The company strives to develop a Windows driver for the 9A1000 so that it can also be used with Windows computers.
Loongson Zhongke said,The 9A1000 is positioned as an entry-level independent graphics card. Its display function is roughly equivalent to AMD's RX550, and it also has dozens of terabytes of computing power. It is self-matched with Loongson CPU to achieve the highest cost performance of the system.

It is understood that9A1000 is Loongson’s first GPU chip, supporting PCIe 4.0 system bus and paired with 128-bit wide LPDDR4X memory.
Supports graphics and computing standard APIs such as OpenGL 4.0 and OpenCL 3.0, and integrates video processing modules. It can hard decode H.264 and H.265, and can output HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and VGA.
In terms of performance, the pixel filling rate is 16GP/s (16 billion per second), the texture filling rate is 32GT/s (32 billion per second), and the computing power is FP32 1TFlops (1 trillion times per second), FP64 64GFlops (64 billion times per second), and INT8 32TFlops (32 trillion times per second).
