According to news on December 18, Apple will release its first foldable iPhone in September next year, which will appear on the same stage as the iPhone 18 Pro series. Although Apple has not officially announced any information, the supply chain has now confirmed the news. iPhone-Ticker.de even published renderings based on CAD drawings and brought detailed body data.

Folded state:
Body 83.8mm*120.6mm*9.6mm, about 5.49 inches, when folded, it is wider but shorter than current iPhone models. When held with one hand, the width is slightly wider than conventional models, but the height is shortened for easier control. The screen resolution is 2088×1422.
Expanded state:
Body 167.6*120.6mm*4.8mm, about 7.76 inches, close to iPad mini (8.3 inches, 195.4×134.8mm), but overall smaller than iPad mini, with a resolution of 2713×1920 pixels.

The rear dual-camera solution has a lens module design consistent with the iPhone 17 series. It is speculated that the main camera specification is 48 million pixels to meet daily shooting needs.
The internal front camera is completely integrated under the screen, and the CAD drawings do not show openings such as bangs or punch holes, achieving a true full-screen effect for the first time.

According to reports, Apple has also built a very powerful hinge, which uses a built-in metal stress dispersion plate to achieve a "nearly crease-free" inner screen effect. It also supports self-healing coating technology to improve scratch resistance.
The processor is expected to be the A20 series, equipped with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, and its performance is comparable to the iPhone Pro models of the same period. It is equipped with Apple's second-generation self-developed C2 baseband and has no physical SIM card slot (only eSIM is supported).

In terms of pricing, the starting price in the US market is expected to be US$1,800-2,500, which translates to approximately 13,000-18,000 yuan in RMB, making it the most expensive iPhone in history.
