AMD is planning two new 9000X3D processors, including Ryzen 7 9850X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D2. Among them, Ryzen 7 9850X3D has previously appeared on AMD’s official website. Now this processor is on the shelves in advance at overseas retailers, and its price information has surfaced for the first time.
American retailer SHI has put Ryzen 7 9850X3D on its shelves. The price tag is US$553.09 (approximately RMB 3,895). At the same time, a Swiss retailer also offered a price of CHF 473.55 (approximately RMB 4,192).

However, considering that these figures are significantly higher than the $479 MSRP of the 9800X3D when it was launched, the industry generally believes that these are just placeholders.
Coupled with the fact that the Ryzen 9 9950X/9900X3D is priced at US$600, there is a high probability that AMD will control the final pricing of the 9850X3D within a more competitive range. Players do not need to be frightened by the initial "inflated" price.
The core architecture of Ryzen 7 9850X3D has not changed much. It maintains an 8-core 16-thread design, a TDP of 120W, and is still equipped with a 96MB L3 cache.
The main improvement is in frequency. The maximum core frequency is increased from 5.2GHz of the previous generation to 5.6GHz, and the base frequency remains unchanged at 4.7GHz.
These two processors are expected to be officially unveiled at the CES conference in January 2026.
