According to the "Industry Information WeChat News" public account, recently,Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Lecheng met with Su Zifeng, Chairman and CEO of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the fields of digital economy and artificial intelligence.

Li Lecheng said that China has rich data resources and application scenarios, and digital technology, artificial intelligence, etc. are developing rapidly and empowering thousands of industries.

China will unswervingly promote new industrialization, continue to expand high-level opening up to the outside world, and provide more cooperation opportunities for foreign-funded enterprises, including AMD.

It is hoped that AMD will continue to deeply explore the Chinese market, innovate and grow together with upstream and downstream enterprises in the Chinese industrial chain, and achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development.

Su Zifeng thanked China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for its support of AMD’s development in China. He expressed that he will continue to deepen investment in China, further strengthen cooperation with China, and jointly promote industrial innovation and development.

According to media reports, on December 16, Su Zifeng led a team of senior executives to visit Lenovo Group’s global headquarters in Beijing.

Accompanied by many senior executives from Lenovo,AMD's delegation visited Lenovo's latest products and technological achievements, including humanoid robots.

Compared with Su Zifeng's high-profile trip to Beijing in March this year, this trip seemed quite low-key.

Looking back on the one-week trip to China in March, Su Zifeng also chose the Lenovo headquarters as her first stop and announced that AMD and Lenovo would launch multiple cooperations in the AIPC field.
