Kuai Technology News on December 19,Today, China UnionPay officially released the “NihaoChina (Hello! China)” APP.The APP is specially designed for overseas visitors to China and provides one-stop digital services covering multiple scenarios such as payment, travel, life, culture and tourism.
It supports UnionPay foreign cards and international mainstream bank cards such as Visa and MasterCard for recharge.It supports online and offline payments, covering various high-frequency consumption scenarios such as transportation, accommodation, shopping, etc., allowing inbound tourists to "seamlessly" experience convenient QR code payment.
Relying on the integrated acceptance network of domestic UnionPay, WeChat and Alipay, the APP has achieved wider payment coverage. Online payment supports more than 300 applications including 12306, Ctrip, Meituan, and JD.com.
Departure tax refund services have covered key cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Haikou, and Sanya, supporting OCR recognition, QR code interaction, and an all-English interface.
In terms of travel, the APP’s travel services have covered subways in 43 major cities across the country and buses in 1,760 cities above county level, achieving “one-code access”.
It also provides convenient navigation to surrounding ATMs, foreign currency exchange points and other facilities. The APP can obtain global currency exchange rates in real time and supports the conversion of more than 160 currencies such as US dollars, RMB, and Euros.
The APP also has built-in real-time translation and page translation tools, supporting multilingual conversational translation and text translation functions.
