According to reports,The world's first 6-ton tilt-rotor aircraft Lanying R6000, independently developed by United Aircraft Group, completed its first flight in Sichuan.This move marks my country's breakthrough in the key technology of tilt rotor. According to reports, the Lanying R6000 tilt-rotor aircraft combines the advantages of vertical takeoff and landing of helicopters and high-speed cruising of fixed-wing aircraft.
With the rotor pointing upward, it is completely equivalent to the flight mode of a helicopter. It does not need a runway and can take off, hover and land vertically on the spot. During the cruise flight stage, the rotor tilts forward 90° to a horizontal state, transforming into a fixed-wing propeller aircraft and flying with the lift of the wings.

Lanying R6000 has a cargo compartment volume of 7.6 cubic meters. Based on different uses such as carrying people and cargo, it is equipped with two configurations: modular cargo compartment and removable seats.
The load-carrying cargo space can meet the freight needs of most high-value products.It can carry up to 2,000 kilograms and can transport 4-10 people at one time. It can be called a "car in the sky".

In fixed-wing flight mode,The Lanying R6000 has a cruising speed of 550 kilometers per hour, a maximum range of 4,000 kilometers, and a practical ceiling of 7,620 meters.Equipped with tandem wing folding and blade folding technologies, its flight speed, load capacity, and range far exceed those of traditional helicopters.

The aircraft can cover diversified needs such as aviation logistics, special operations, emergency rescue, offshore platform commuting, aerial surveying and mapping, high-end private travel, and air sightseeing and tourism.
In other respects, the AES100 engine equipped with Lanying R6000 is my country's first completely independently developed 1,000-kilowatt civilian turboshaft engine.
It adopts advanced compressor and turbine pneumatic design, has high-altitude anti-icing capabilities, and can adapt to complex electromagnetic environments. The power is 1000 kilowatts, the fuel saving rate is 20%, and the first turning life reaches 3000 hours.
