The unofficial PC port version of "The Legend of Zelda: Dreamweaver" made by players has attracted a lot of players' attention on social platforms this week, and Nintendo's attention came quickly. Needless to say, the results are natural.

The author linksawakeningdxhd uploaded the 1998 unofficial PC port version of "The Legend of Zelda: Dreamweaver Island" on the independent game site itch.io, with high-definition graphics, 120 frame rate and widescreen resolution support. Now the files for this game have been removed from the website.

The site also posted a lawyer's letter from Nintendo on the corresponding page, clearly requesting that the game infringes the copyright and that the download page needs to be deleted immediately.

What's special about this PC ported version is that players can zoom out and see all NPCs and enemies on the entire island, which is a very novel effect.

Nintendo launched the official NS remake of "The Legend of Zelda: Dreamweaver Island" in 2019.
