As the CES 2026 conference approaches,PC giant Asus released a preview video through social media, titled "Stay tuned... NEO motherboard will be launched soon."In this 18-second video, Asus showcases the NEO series motherboards based on the AMD AM5 platform and shows various new motherboard models from different angles.
As you can see from the video,ASUS NEO series motherboards cover many of its popular motherboard families, including ROG, TUF and ProArt series.
Although the video doesn't reveal too many details about the motherboard's specifications and features,But it is foreseeable that these new motherboards will serve as updated versions of the existing AM5 800 series, bringing some improvements and optimizations.
NEO series motherboards may have improvements in connectivity, such as supporting new technologies such as Wi-Fi 7. Some models are also equipped with dedicated POGO Pin metal contacts to accurately match ASUS's own next-generation AIO all-in-one water-cooling radiator.
In addition, the model name of the new motherboard is expected to end with "NEO" to distinguish it from existing models, such as "WIFI7 NEO".
