JD.com’s Blackboard newspaper announced that JD.com’s quality catering brand Qixian Kitchen will go nationwide and officially launch a nationwide operating partner recruitment plan. The first batch of openings includes the three core areas of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Pearl River Delta, covering key cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhuhai, and Zhongshan.

At present, the first store of Qixian Kitchen in Harbin has been opened. New stores in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Tianjin and other places will be unveiled in January 2026. It plans to complete the layout of all first- and second-tier cities in China in the same year.

JD.com said that for a long time, there have been a large number of low-quality and low-price "ghost takeaways" in the catering takeout market, causing bad money to drive out good money and food safety becoming a core pain point.

Since its launch, Qixian Kitchen has quickly won market recognition with its three core initiatives of "fresh frying, transparency of ingredients, and live broadcast in the kitchen".

Fresh ingredients are purchased directly from the source, big-name suppliers are carefully selected, washing, cutting and assembly are standardized, and the kitchen is broadcast live 24 hours a day.

Its affordable pricing of 10-20 yuan provides consumers with higher-quality, more cost-effective choices. Through healthy market competition, it effectively promotes the healthy replacement of "ghost takeout" supply by quality takeout.

It is reported that under the partnership model, Qixian Kitchen will provide a mature supply chain system, smart kitchen equipment and unified food safety and operation management standards.

The partners are mainly responsible for providing venues and undertaking localized operations to jointly ensure the consistent quality of stores across the country.
