According to the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, the "Xiangyun" AS700 manned airship independently developed by my country,Successfully obtained the country's first domestic manned airship production license (PC certificate) issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China. This marks that my country's first manned airship independently developed in accordance with airworthiness standards has officially entered the mass production stage.
AS700 obtained the type certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in December 2023. Since 2024, the AS700 manned airship team has completed more than 187 safety test flights in multiple application scenarios and a total of 602 hours.
It is understood that the length, width and height of the AS700 are 50 meters, 13 meters and 16 meters respectively, with a maximum capacity of 10 people and a maximum take-off weight of 4150kg.
It has the performance advantages of a maximum range of 700 kilometers and a maximum flight time of 10 hours.With its unique thrust vector synchronous servo control technology, it can achieve short-distance or vertical take-off and landing on a simple site with a diameter of 150 meters.
