Belkin released the latest member of its Nintendo Switch 2 accessory product line at CES 2026 - the Charging Case Pro charging storage case. Compared with the first Switch 2 charging storage case launched last year, the new model focuses on improving the charging method and stand design while continuing to use the 10000mAh built-in battery, and simultaneously increases the price. Charging Case Pro continues to be aimed at players who need to take their console with them when traveling, trying to find a balance between portability and ease of use through an integrated storage and battery life solution.

The biggest change of the new Charging Case Pro is that users no longer need to open the storage box or remove the battery to charge it. Belkin has added a front USB-C interface on the outside of the box. Players only need to connect the power supply while the zipper of the box is kept closed to recharge the internal battery. There is also a small display next to the USB‑C interface to display the remaining power in real time, making it easier for users to understand battery life. Compared with the previous generation design that required additional short wires to connect to the host, this external interface and visual power information significantly simplify the daily use process.
In terms of internal structure, the original product used the folding stand that came with the Switch 2 body, while the Charging Case Pro redesigned the battery module and integrated a set of adjustable independent stands. Players only need to place Switch 2 on the stand like a dock, and the USB‑C port on the stand can power the console and charge while playing. This design not only improves placement stability, but also brings it closer to the experience of using a home base, making it suitable for long-term gaming on the go or in a desktop environment.

In terms of storage function, Charging Case Pro adds many new details to the original space layout: a small flip area is set up inside the box specifically for storing game cartridges, making it convenient for players to carry multiple physical cartridges with them; it is also equipped with a mesh pocket for placing cables or other small accessories. Belkin has also reserved hidden compartments in the box for placing location tags such as AirTag or Tile, making it easier for users to retrieve the entire storage box through a tracking device if it is lost or stolen.

In terms of pricing, the Charging Case Pro has increased by $30 compared to the previous generation. The first Switch 2 charging storage case was launched in June last year for $69.99, while the Pro version launched this time is priced at $99.99 and is now on sale. While maintaining a 10,000mAh battery capacity, the new model positions itself as a high-end accessory choice for serious handheld gamers through an external charging interface, a visual power screen, an integrated adjustable stand, and a more complete storage and tracking design.
