As the price of DDR5 memory continues to soar, the AM4 platform has once again become the darling of the market with its support for DDR4 memory.Against this background, Gigabyte recently launched four DDR4 AM4 motherboard products, two of which are based on the A520 chipset and two are based on the B550 chipset, covering Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX specifications.

Most of these motherboards are upgraded versions of existing models, making the products more competitive by adding modern features such as ARGB lighting effects or Wi-Fi support.

Among them, Aorus B550I Pro AX 1.4 is the highest-end model released this time. Compared with the previous generation Aorus B550I Pro AX 1.3, this motherboard has slightly upgraded specifications.

It adopts Mini-ITX specifications and is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E, 8-phase VRM power supply system, PCIe 4.0 support, dual NVMe PCIe 4.0 slots, 2.5Gb Ethernet, dual HDMI interfaces and USB 3.2 Gen 2 support.

B550M H ARGB is a Micro-ATX specification product based on the Ultra Durable series. Compared with the previous generation, it adds support for ARGB lighting effects.

In addition, the motherboard also removed the DVI interface and replaced it with a DisplayPort interface. It also made minor adjustments to the appearance design and is equipped with two DDR4 memory slots and a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot.

In the A520 series, the A520I AC rev 1.5 Mini-ITX motherboard replaces the Wi-Fi card from Intel AC 3168 Wi-Fi 5 to Realtek AW-CB304NF Wi-Fi 5,Equipped with a 6-phase VRM power supply system, 6 USB interfaces and a PCIe 3.0 M.2 slot.

A520M H ARGB is the cheapest motherboard among the four, but it has also made many improvements. The DVI interface has been removed from the rear I/O interface and replaced with a DisplayPort interface, and ARGB lighting effect support has been added.

This motherboard also removes one PCIe x1 slot, leaving only one PCIe x16 and one PCIe x1 slot. The motherboard is equipped with 6 USB ports, two DDR4 memory slots and a PCIe 3.0 M.2 slot.
