AutoNavi, a subsidiary of Alibaba, has laid out the world model and plans to launch a new product application based on the world model. Currently, this model has achieved first place in multiple indicators in WorldScore, the spatial intelligence evaluation benchmark. WorldScore was proposed by the team of famous Chinese artificial intelligence scientist and Stanford University professor Li Feifei. It is also the first open source benchmark test to support the unified evaluation of multi-modal world generation models.
In addition, AutoNavi has established an embodied business department internally. On the recruitment platform, AutoNavi has released multiple recruitment positions for the embodied business department, including embodied intelligent product experts, data/algorithm engineers, etc. People familiar with the matter said that product forms such as robots and robot dogs are among the exploration directions of the embodied business department.
In August 2025, AutoNavi announced its comprehensive AI transformation and all-round shift to spatial intelligence. In September of the same year, the local lifestyle product Gaode Street Sweeping List was launched. Recently, Alibaba Group's latest AI flagship application "Qianwen" was the first Alibaba ecological scene to be connected to Amap and Amap Street Sweeping List.
