At this CES 2026 Consumer Electronics Show, NVIDIA rarely released a new graphics card, but news about the new generation RTX 60 series still attracted attention from the outside world. Well-known hardware leaker @kopite7kimi said,NVIDIA will use the Rubin architecture on the RTX 60 series graphics cards with built-in "GR20x" chips for games.

Just like Ampere's GA and Blackwell's GB in the past, if there are no big surprises, the RTX 60 series will use the code name GR.There are a series of GR200 series such as GR202, GR203, GR205, GR206 and GR207 named for Rubin GPU products.
Rubin is NVIDIA's next-generation data center architecture and will replace Blackwell. Compared with Blackwell, Rubin's transistor count only increases by 1.6 times, but its AI peak performance increases by 5 times.
Judging from the Rubin CPX GPU specifications, if it is transplanted to products such as RTX 6090 in the future, the performance improvement may reach about 30%. At the same time, the next generation of RTX 60 series graphics cards will rely more on AI image generation.
It is reported that the RTX 60 series will not debut in 2026, and will not debut until at least the second half of 2027.
As for whether the RTX 50 Super series will be seen in 2026, it is still a mystery. After all, the imbalance between memory supply and demand still cannot be solved at this stage.
