On Sunday evening local time, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk posted on the X platform, reaffirming his dream of making humanity a multi-planetary civilization. Musk was responding to a post commemorating the 120th anniversary of the Wright brothers' first powered flight.

He wrote: "It was only 66 years from the first flight to the moon landing, but half a century has passed since the last moon landing. This cannot be the highest symbol of our civilization. Human beings should build bases on the moon and cities on Mars to become an interstellar civilization!"
