Blue Origin said: "The network will provide services to tens of thousands of enterprise, data center and government users who need stable network connections to ensure the smooth operation of critical businesses."
The TeraWave architecture consists of 5,408 satellites optically connected to each other in low Earth orbit (LEO) and medium Earth orbit. This multi-rail design enables ultra-high-speed connectivity between global hubs and distributed, multi-gigabit user connections, particularly in remote, rural and suburban areas where diverse fiber paths are costly, technically unfeasible or slow to deploy. TeraWave enterprise-grade subscriber and gateway endpoints can be rapidly deployed globally and interface with existing high-capacity infrastructure to provide additional routing diversity and enhance overall network resiliency.

Deployment of the “TeraWave” satellite constellation will begin in the fourth quarter of 2027.
