Affected by the superposition of multiple factors, the semiconductor industry will usher in a new round of price increases across the entire industry chain in the beginning of 2026. The price increase effects will gradually be transmitted from AI computing chips and memory chips to manufacturing, packaging and testing, as well as upstream key materials and core components. Today, China Micro Semiconductor officially issued a price increase notice, saying that due to factors such as tight chip supply and rising costs across the industry, the company's packaging delivery cycle has been lengthened, costs such as frameworks and packaging and testing fees have continued to rise, and it is facing significant supply, demand and cost pressures.
After careful research, the company has decided to adjust the prices of MCU, Nor flash and other products with immediate effect, with the price increase ranging from 15% to 50%.
Prior to this, Guokewei had also issued price increase notices to customers.
Goke Micro pointed out that the supply of memory chips in the entire industry is tight and costs continue to rise. The supply gap of packaged KGD chips is expected to further expand. The costs of superimposing substrates, frames, packaging and testing continue to rise, and the company's related costs have increased significantly.
Affected by this, the company announced a comprehensive price increase for its products, with a maximum increase of 80%.

According to reports, the price increase in the entire semiconductor industry chain is behind the concentrated release of multiple cost pressures.
On the one hand, the prices of important semiconductor raw materials such as silver, copper, and tin have increased significantly, directly pushing up the manufacturing costs of passive components and other semiconductor components;
At the same time, the prices of many semiconductor materials such as copper-clad laminates and films have increased simultaneously, with some categories increasing by more than 30%.
On the other hand, the core component links downstream of the industrial chain have also been affected by this. Suppliers of key passive components such as capacitors and resistors have successively issued price adjustment notices to join this round of price increases.
