Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Saturday that Nvidia plans to make a "huge" investment in OpenAI, which may be Nvidia's largest investment ever, and denied that he is dissatisfied with the ChatGPT maker. Nvidia announced plans to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI last September. But reports emerged on Friday that the plan had stalled after some within Nvidia expressed doubts about the deal.

The report also said that Huang privately criticized what he described as OpenAI's undisciplined way of doing business and expressed concerns about the competition OpenAI faces from companies such as Google and Anthropic.

But Huang told reporters on Saturday that saying he was dissatisfied with OpenAI was "nonsense."

"We're going to make a huge investment in OpenAI. I believe in OpenAI, the work they're doing is incredible, they're one of the most influential companies of our time, and I absolutely love working with Sam," he said, referring to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

"Sam is completing this investment round and we will absolutely be involved," Huang added. "We will be investing a lot of money, and this will probably be our largest investment ever.

Asked if it would be more than $100 billion, he said: "No, no, not that much."

Huang added that Altman will announce how much money he wants to raise on his own.
