The person in charge of the R&D center of an electrical company in Foshan, Guangdong, said that less than a month into this year, orders have increased by 70% to 80% year-on-year, and the production line has been operating at full capacity from the first day.
According to the report,At a transformer factory in Jiangsu, product orders have been scheduled until the end of 2027. Among them, the first fully insulated ultra-high-voltage large-capacity transformer in China was recently shipped to the North American market.
Cai Yiqing, secretary-general of the Electric Power Equipment Branch of the China Electricity Council, said that my country has become the world's largest transformer producer and has built the world's most complete transformer production system. It has independent and controllable hard power across the entire industry chain and accounts for about 60% of the world's production capacity.
Data shows that there are about 3,000 enterprises in my country's transformer industry. By 2025,The total value of my country's transformer exports reached 64.6 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 36% from 2024.
