Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake Refresh flagship model Core Ultra 9 290K Plus has been exposed again on Geekbench 6.The latest test uses ASUS ROG STRIX Z890-E Gaming WIFI motherboard with 64GB DDR5-6800 memory. In the running score, the 290K Plus single-core score is 3535 points and the multi-core score is 25106 points.

Compared with the previous generation 285K, the single-core performance is improved by 10%, and the multi-core performance is improved by 11%, which is significantly better than the previously leaked 7%/9% data.
Compared with the competitor AMD flagship Ryzen 9 9950X3D, the 290K Plus leads by 4% in single-core and 13% in multi-core.

In terms of specifications, the 290K Plus is expected to maintain a 24-core and 24-thread configuration and achieve performance growth mainly through increased frequency and possible increased TDP.
However, the industry generally believes thatSince the architecture has not undergone a qualitative change, game performance will not change significantly. AMD will still maintain an overwhelming advantage in the game field with its 3D V-Cache technology. As the release date approaches, more specification details are expected to be revealed in the future.
