Recently, Valve released the January 2026 Steam Software and Hardware Survey, which revealed in detail the current hardware configuration trends of gamers. The report shows that in the field of PC graphics cards, NVIDIA is in a leading position with a market share of 73.24%, AMD is 18.44%, and Intel owns the remaining 8%.

Specific to the graphics card model,With a user share of 4.36%, the RTX 4060 ended the RTX 3060’s three-year top position and became the graphics card with the most users that month.
The proportion of RTX 3060 dropped slightly to 4.28%, ranking second. The rest of the top ten on the list are all N cards, and no AMD independent graphics card has been shortlisted.
For AMD, the more popular graphics cards are older graphics cards such as RX 7800 XT and RX 6600, and the new generation Radeon RX 9070 only has a 0.16% share.
However, it should be noted that AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics also contains some RDNA independent graphics that may not be recognized, accounting for 2.27%.
In addition to the graphics card, Valve also announced some other information.

Most players on Steam are using 16GB memory, accounting for 40.24%. In terms of monitors, 1080P monitors are still the most common, accounting for 52.59%. In terms of language, English is still the highest, accounting for 37.01%.
In terms of CPU, Intel and AMD share the market, accounting for 55.64% and 44.36% respectively, almost equally dividing the world.
