Judging from the monthly trend, China's auto market has shown strong resilience, with its share rising to 40% in November. Even if it fell back to 37% in December due to seasonal factors, the full year is still 1.4 percentage points higher than in 2024, continuing the continuous upward trend since 2020.
Looking back on the past, from 2016 to 2018, China's automobiles accounted for about 30% of the world's automobiles; in 2019, it dropped to 29%, but it still has an absolute advantage; in 2020-2021, its share rose to 32%; in 2022, China's share rose to 33.5%; China's share remained at 33.8% in 2023; China's share of the world's cars reached 34.2% in 2024; China's share of the world's cars reached 35.6% from January to December 2025.
The growth rate of Chinese automobiles is also unparalleled.Global car sales from January to December 2025 will increase by 5%, of which Chinese cars will grow by 9%.
