On February 6, Pony.ai and domestic GPU company Moore Thread announced a strategic cooperation on February 6. The two parties will focus on the large-scale application of L4 autonomous driving technology. The core of this cooperation is that, for the first time, Pony.ai will use the domestic AI computing power provided by Moore Threads on a large scale in the key training and simulation links of its world model and virtual driver system.

According to the cooperation content, the two parties will jointly promote the training adaptation and verification of autonomous driving models based on the Moore Thread MTT S5000 training and promotion integrated intelligent computing card and Kua'e intelligent computing cluster, aiming to build a full-link collaboration of "algorithm-data-computing power-application". Pony.ai said that its PonyWorld world model based on reinforcement learning can generate more than 10 billion kilometers of test data every week to train the virtual driver system.

Pony.ai has currently launched fully driverless Robotaxi services in four first-tier cities in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. As of December 31, 2025, its Robotaxi fleet size reached 1,159 vehicles, and it achieved a positive unit economic model (UE) in its Guangzhou operations. The company plans to expand Robotaxi to more than 3,000 vehicles by the end of 2026. This cooperation with Moore Thread is seen as an attempt to accelerate the commercialization process through the deep integration of domestic computing power and autonomous driving algorithms.
