Apple is about to launch a number of new products intensively: the entry-level iPhone 17e may be unveiled this month, a new generation of MacBook Pro equipped with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips is expected to debut in early March, and the first iOS 26.4 beta version that brings "new Siri" is expected to be launched in late February.

Well-known journalist Mark Gurman said in the latest issue of the Power On newsletter that the release of the iPhone 17e is "imminent." This statement echoes previous supply chain news - Apple may quietly release the new phone through a press release on February 19 (Thursday). As an entry-level model for the public, the iPhone 17e is expected to continue to use a 6.1-inch LTPS OLED screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz. However, it will officially say goodbye to the notch design that has been used for many years and switch to a "smart island" to unify its appearance with other iPhone models.

In terms of core configuration, iPhone 17e is expected to be equipped with an A19 chip, which will improve performance by about 5% to 10% compared to the A18 used in iPhone 16e. In terms of network and connection, the new phone is expected to use the C1 series baseband (excluding N1 chip) and support magnetic wireless charging. The imaging system includes a 12MP front selfie camera, Face ID module and 48MP rear main camera. In terms of pricing, Apple is believed to intend to keep the iPhone 17e at the same starting price of $599 as the iPhone 16e, but may enhance the price/performance ratio by increasing the base storage capacity to 256GB.

At the same time, the Mac product line is also accelerating iteration. The report pointed out that the new MacBook Pro is expected to use M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, and its release time is linked to the ongoing macOS 26.3 update cycle, which is scheduled to "last until March." Against this background, some believe that the MacBook Pro equipped with the new chip may be officially launched as early as the week of March 2. The current channel inventory of the M4 series MacBook Pro is said to be "continuously low", and Apple usually takes the initiative to lower the inventory levels of older models before the release of major new products. This is also regarded as one of the important signals that the M5 Pro and M5 Max versions of MacBook Pro are about to be released.

In terms of software, the first iOS 26.4 beta version is expected to be pushed to developers in the week of February 23. The biggest highlight of this version is the "remodeled Siri". Apple is expected to introduce a large model customized by Google Gemini for Siri to support new features such as long-awaited in-app operations, personal context understanding, and "screen-reading level" content awareness, allowing Siri to perform more complex agent-like operations between multiple applications based on personal data and screen content. To this end, Apple plans to deploy a Gemini customized model with a parameter scale of up to 1.2 trillion in its own cloud as part of the Apple Intelligence system: simple tasks are completed by the terminal's local model and device computing power, and more complex reasoning is sent to Apple's private cloud for reasoning in an encrypted, stateless manner to seek a balance between privacy and computing power.
