Preview appreciation:
The background of the film's story is set in Hollywood in the 1920s. Different from his previous positioning as Gru's assistant, in this game the minions will embark on a new adventure to find suitable "villain" characters for the filming of monster movies. In the plot, the minions will team up with a green creature and encounter monsters such as sea monsters, giant pink rabbits, and mummies.
"Minions and Monsters" is produced by Illumination Entertainment founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and "Super Mario Bros. Movie" executive producer Bill Ryan. The film's script was written by Brian Lynch and directed by Oscar-nominated director Pierre Coffin, who has directed many "Despicable Me" and "Minions" series and has long been the voice actor of the Minions.

The "Minions" series tells the story of the adventures of a group of yellow creatures as they search for and follow the villain leader, eventually meeting Gru, the protagonist of the "Despicable Me" series. The series has achieved continued commercial success worldwide.
"Despicable Me 4", which will be released in 2024, has a global box office of US$230 million in its first week. Since the launch of the series, the global box office of "Despicable Me" and its derivative works has exceeded US$5 billion, making it one of the highest-grossing animated film series in the world.
"Minions and Monsters" will be released on July 1.
