The new generation LPDDR6 memory standard has been released for half a year, and products are gradually being implemented. Large capacity and high frequency have become a must-select, and even the upgraded version of LPDDR6X is coming soon. SK Hynix will announce the details of its LPDDR6 memory at the ISSCC 2026 conference in San Francisco from the 15th to the 19th of this month. The capacity of a single chip is 16Gb (2GB), and the equivalent data transmission rate is as high as 14.4Gbps.
The LPDDR6 standard does not clearly specify the data transfer rate, but it is believed that the highest is 14.4Gbps, and Samsung is also working in this direction.
SK hynix will adopt1c DRAM process, which is the final evolutionary version of the 10nm level.

at the same time,Samsung has handed over samples of LPDDR6X memory to Qualcomm for testing and verification, and is expected to be commercially available in the second half of 2027.
The specific details are not yet clear, but it must be a higher speed.
It has to be said that no one has this speed like Samsung. LPDDR6 has not yet been launched, and LPDDR6X can’t wait.
