The popularity of this model has also attracted attention from all walks of life. Tesla CEO Musk forwarded relevant content on social platforms, lamenting that AI technology is developing too fast.
Hollywood director Charles Curran spent $60 and took 20 minutes to use Seedance 2.0 to create a live-action movie trailer for "Halo" and bluntly said that this tool may subvert the entire Hollywood.
Seedance 2.0 was officially connected to Doubao and Jimeng on February 12, 2026. Its all-round reference mode supports free combination input of four modes: image, video, audio, and text, and can also automatically generate reasonable prompt words from materials.

Bytedance said that Seedance 2.0 still has a lot of room for optimization in terms of detail stability, multi-person demographic matching, multi-subject consistency, text restoration accuracy and complex editing effects.
