T1, a well-known Korean e-sports club, officially signed a business agreement with the Korean Navy Power Analysis, Testing and Evaluation Group yesterday (12th). The two parties plan to conduct in-depth cooperation on strengthening collaboration in the future digital combat environment at the T1 headquarters building in Gangnam District, Seoul.

The core of this cooperation is to combine creative technologies and big data applications in the e-sports and gaming fields with the Navy's perception, command and control, and analysis and simulation (M&S) capabilities. According to the agreement, the two parties will communicate in multiple dimensions: first, activating the gamification function of the Navy's M&S model; second, transforming the creative tactics of e-sports teams into research topics for naval tactical development; in addition, the two parties will jointly study tactical analysis and improvement plans based on game data, and hold regular academic conferences and seminars.
It is worth mentioning that related topics have also appeared on the hot discussion list on Tieba, causing netizens to joke that this was the "incorporation" of the team led by Brother Li (Faker), and he will be called "Consultant Li" in the future.

Do you think the ever-changing resource replacement and tactical games of e-sports teams can really bring substantial inspiration to real-life naval battle simulations, or do you think this cross-border linkage is more of a "face project" to attract attention? Let’s chat in the comment section.
