Valve has recently added a number of new features to the beta version of Steam, the most notable of which is the addition of an "Additional Hardware Specifications" option when players write reviews. This option will also display the PC configuration in the review, allowing other players to more clearly judge the reviewer's computer configuration, and avoid further disputes where the device is obviously too old but the game is blamed for poor optimization.
This function is currently limited to the Steam Beta version client. A corresponding check box will appear in the comment field. The system will automatically capture and display the user's current computer hardware configuration. It is up to the player to decide whether to make it public or not, and it is not mandatory.

The advantage of this is that if you see a review that uses a graphics card and processor similar to your own, you can more accurately refer to its performance experience. If it is lower than the minimum requirement but complains about lagging, you can also see at a glance that the problem may lie in the hardware.
At present, the official has not stated whether the filled-in specifications will be verified, but it is speculated that the system information is likely to be read according to the Steam hardware investigation method.
In addition to displaying hardware specifications in comments, this update also adds an option to anonymize frame rate information. When enabled, Steam will collect frame rate data during the game, but it will not be tied to a personal Steam account, but will be associated with the type of hardware in use.
Valve said that these data will be used to analyze game compatibility and performance performance to help improve the platform experience. This feature is still in the Beta stage.
This Steam Beta update also includes a number of adjustments and fixes:
Steam Families: Improved settings layout and navigation flow on desktop, Deck, and mobile devices.
Streaming function: Fixed the issue where download speed is still limited after streaming ends.
Linux: Fixed a bug where games executed through Proton may be displayed as invalid for the current platform when using offline mode for a large game library.
Steam Deck: When a player disagrees with the Deck Verified rating, the system will ask for the reason for the disagreement (optional).
