The BMW Group officially released the new BMW ALPINA brand badge logo, which will be operated as an exclusive independent brand under the BMW Group. Judging from the new logo,ALPINA does not use BMW's classic "blue sky and white clouds logo" and mainly uses the letters "ALPINA" as its brand logo.

The two classic elements of the throttle body and crankshaft are integrated into the car logo, showing an obvious automotive mechanical style. The minimalist black and white color scheme makes the car logo highlight a lot of high-end feel.
"The new badge design complements the recently unveiled wordmark and together defines the brand's contemporary identity," the BMW Group said.
In addition, the BMW Group also pointed out that the new BMW ALPINA brand logo reinterprets classic elements, paying tribute to the brand's tradition while truly integrating into modern design. The new design features the same two important elements as before – the throttle body and crankshaft, which are central to the brand’s historical story.
Information shows that ALPINA was founded in 1965 as an independent automobile manufacturer in Bavaria, Germany. It originally focused on high-performance modifications and personalized upgrades of BMW models. It is considered to be a modification factory for BMW models, but ALPINA is actually a vehicle manufacturing brand with an independent vehicle identification code and a complete certification system.
In March 2022, the BMW Group announced that it would acquire the ALPINA brand and become one of its brands. The original cooperation agreement between the two parties expired on December 31, 2025.
However, on January 1 this year, the BMW Group officially announced that the ALPINA trademark rights were officially transferred to the BMW Group. This high-performance car brand with a history of nearly 60 years has since become an exclusive independent brand of the BMW Group as "BMW ALPINA". The transfer of trademark rights marks the official completion of BMW Group’s acquisition of ALPINA.
