Ubisoft is facing an indefinite employee strike as employees protest against the company's cancellation of its work-from-home policy. Some employees were interviewed by BFM, a well-known French television station. One interviewee said that he had worked at Ubisoft for 9 years and could not understand the company's decision. Even when working from home, their work efficiency has been very high, and the company's move makes no sense to him.

Another interviewee, a union representative, said that if they are unable to work from home, some employees will be unable to complete the game release work on time due to personal matters (such as taking care of children).

Ubisoft is promoting restructuring and cutting off many game projects while forcing employees to return to work. This move has also caused strong dissatisfaction among the company's employees.
