On February 18, Tesla officially announced on Weibo that the first mass-produced model of Tesla Cybercab autonomous electric vehicle has rolled off the assembly line at the Texas Gigafactory. It is reported that Tesla announced on February 9 this year that the Tesla Cybercab autonomous electric vehicle will start mass production and put into operation at the Texas Gigafactory.

On February 16, Musk once again reiterated the production schedule of Tesla Cybercab. He said the Cybercab will enter early production in April and the car will not come with pedals or a steering wheel.
Previously, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated at the 2025 shareholder meeting that Cybercab is expected to become Tesla's highest-volume model in history, with a target annual production capacity of approximately 2 million vehicles. The car is a two-seater robotaxi with only two seats in the car and a butterfly door that can be opened at a wide angle.
