Following the pure electric Highlander, Toyota has released the pure electric crossover bZ Woodland at a time when the pure electric ebb tide is declining in the North American auto market. bZ Woodland shares a platform with the previously released bZ4X and can be regarded as the off-road version of the latter. It has dual-motor four-wheel drive @375 horsepower, zero to zero time in 4.4 seconds, optional all-terrain tires (AT tires), and is compatible with Tesla supercharging. It only takes 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. The EPA range is 450 kilometers (reduced to 420 kilometers with the optional AT tires).

The bZ Woodland has a ground clearance of up to 213 mm, plus18 inch wheelsandAT tire, is definitely an outlier among the pure electric vehicles. The towing capacity is 3,500 pounds, and the luggage rack is specially reinforced to meet the roof loading requirements:

The vehicle starts at US$46,695, which is US$5,300 more expensive than its sibling, the Subaru Trailseeker, which confuses consumers:

Maybe there must be a premium for hanging the Toyota badge?
The car comes standard with a 14-inch touch screen, which retains physical buttons for temperature and volume. The Beggars Edition has heated front seats, heated steering wheel, heated electric rearview mirrors, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, eight-way electric seats, and dual wireless charging stations; the Luxury Edition supports seat heating/ventilation, streaming rearview mirrors, panoramic sunroof, and JBL nine-speaker audio, with the starting price rising to $48,850.

Critics point out that bZ Woodland’s battery only has 74.7 kilowatt-hours of electricity, and its cruising range is even reduced under winter temperature conditions. It may only be able to run 250 kilometers, greatly reducing its practicality.
As for the appearance, different people have different opinions. The elders of the previous dynasty still cannot accept the appearance of a pure electric train: "It seems that the design concept of the electric train is that it is a next-generation means of transportation, so it must look like an alien visitor."
