According to industry sources, as the highly anticipated release date of "Grand Theft Auto 6" approaches, developer Rockstar has launched unprecedented strict security measures to prevent any information leakage.
KiwiTalkz, the whistleblower, said that in order to prevent the details of the project from leaking, the studio is currently "completely closed, like Area 51." The news comes amid reports that some ardent fans are taking extreme measures to obtain game information, including forging Rockstar employee IDs and flying drones outside company office windows at night.
Rockstar officials have yet to respond to this statement. But the heightened security measures show that the company is taking the secrecy of its flagship project seriously. Despite rumors that the release may be delayed, the official release date of "GTA6" is still set for November 19, 2026.
