Panasonic responded to the transfer of its TV business to Chinese manufacturer Skyworth. Recently, Japanese electronics giant Panasonic will hand over its TV sales business in North America and Europe to Skyworth Group in April this year. It will focus on sales in the Japanese local market and production of high-end models in order to reduce its own costs in personnel, logistics and other aspects.

In response to this business adjustment, Panasonic said: The company builds the most appropriate operating model for its TV business based on different regions. It is worth noting that while announcing the submission of European and American sales business, Panasonic also simultaneously released a new TV product line that will be launched for the European and American markets in 2026.
Looking at the current global television industry, Japanese companies are being abandoned.
Before Panasonic confirmed the above-mentioned rumors, Sony, Sharp, Toshiba, etc. had successively handed over the leadership of the TV business to Chinese-funded enterprises or joint ventures. Japanese brands' presence in the global TV market has almost disappeared.
At present, for Chinese TV manufacturers, the only competitor may be Samsung, and it may only be a matter of time before it defeats the latter.
