Google launched a batch of new Android feature updates at Samsung's launch event.Among them, in the Gemini app, new features allow users to hand over multi-step tasks to the system, such as booking online ride-hailing or adding to shopping carts.The feature will first be rolled out as a beta, running in the background while users perform other tasks.

Users can monitor Gemini's progress in real time through notifications so they can always know what it is doing and intervene immediately.


Google said the feature will initially be limited to certain food, grocery or ride-hailing apps.

It will launch on select devices in the US and South Korea first,Including Galaxy S26 series and Pixel 10 series.
