There have been personnel changes at the top level of Xbox, with Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer retiring and Xbox President Sarah Bond (Sarah Bond) also leaving. It was recently revealed that Sarah is actually difficult to get along with, and if she doesn't like her, she has to leave.
Several current and former Xbox employees expressed relief at Sarah's departure. A source revealed that Sarah was difficult to work with because she created an atmosphere at work: "If you didn't act on her vision or questioned the vision, you would be fired."
As the de facto architect of Xbox's controversial "This is an Xbox" marketing campaign, Sarah tried to make any device play Xbox games. Her strategy was repeatedly frustrated and questioned within the company. In addition, she doesn't love games as much as Spencer does, and her gamer image is said to be just for show.

Although Sarah's departure may seem sudden to the outside world, according to multiple current and former employees, this result is not surprising. They said they had seen ominous signs since last year, especially with the frequent turnover of her direct reports.
