On February 28, at the 2026 Humanoid Robots and Embodied Intelligence Standardization (HEIS) Annual Conference, Wang Xingxing, founder of Yushu Technology, expressed his views on the standards and evaluation system of robots, clearly proposing that a more complete standard system should be established to evaluate the capabilities of robots, including key indicators such as efficiency, success rate, and stability.Without a unified evaluation system, the industry will fall into the dilemma of "everyone has his own opinion" - the industry may have a high degree of recognition of the product, but the recognition of robots outside the industry, such as the industrial system and the general public, will be difficult to align with the internal understanding of the industry, which is not conducive to the overall development of the industry.

Wang Xingxing

In response to this problem, Wang Xingxing proposed two core directions: First, unify task standards and formulate common task indicator standards for hardware and software, so as to promote the real implementation of robot technology and help the rapid development of the industry; second, establish an evaluation system to clarify the measurement scale of "what is a good robot" and formulate relevant standards such as intelligent grading and reliability testing to provide the market with a clear basis for measuring product quality, thereby promoting the orderly development of industry standards.

It is worth mentioning that in 2025, Wang Xingxing pointed out: "As long as AI technology keeps progressing, the robot industry will develop better and better. This is a chain effect brought by the AI industry. In the past two or three years, the trend has been obvious. Everyone has more and more imagination about AI, and they are more optimistic about the robot industry. Humanoid robots are hot this year. In the long run, maybe this is just a small flame, just like the birth of the Internet."
