A rather strange rumor has been widely circulated recently, claiming that PlayStation will no longer port single-player games on its PS5 platform to PC. Bloomberg's Jason Schreier has said that more information will be disclosed soon, and reliable industry whistleblower NateTheHate has brought more relevant details.

He confirmed that PC players will be able to play fewer PlayStation single-player games in the future, and added that we will see fewer PlayStation single-player games on the PC platform in the future, and this decision has been made since last year. Of course, this does not mean that there will be no related porting works launched in the foreseeable future. The relevant arrangements mainly depend on the development progress of the porting project. But after this, PC porting was clearly no longer a priority for Sony.
The work that recently landed on PC and was originally exclusive to PS5 is "Death Stranding 2: On the Shore" developed by Kojima Studio, which is not a first-party PlayStation studio. Since the studio owns the IP, it has a higher degree of freedom in choosing the platform for game distribution. However, Nixxes participated in the porting work of this game, and the publisher is PlayStation.
The reason for this strategic shift may be that many of its transplanted works performed less than expected, including "Death Return" and "Lego Horizon Adventure". Even for a highly anticipated work like "Marvel's Spider-Man 2", the sales performance has not reached the level of "Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered". Of course, none of this seems to have affected the publisher's service-oriented game layout. "Horizon: Hunters Gathering" will be launched simultaneously on PS5 and PC platforms, which is the best evidence.
As always, only time will tell what the final outcome will be, so stay tuned for more details. But for now, there is a high probability that people do not expect Saros developed by Housemarque, or "Marvel Wolverine" to land on the PC platform in the short term.
