At the conference, the Xiaomi Vision GT concept supercar was officially released, which attracted widespread attention from technology and car enthusiasts around the world.
It is reported that,Vision Gran Turismo is a future supercar concept car project initiated by "Gran Turismo". It is specially built for the GT simulation driving platform and invites the world's top car brands to participate. Xiaomi is the first Chinese brand invited to participate in the project.
This is also Xiaomi’s new design exploration of the development direction of super sports cars in the era of smart electrification and AI.
In terms of design, the core highlight of this concept supercar is the ultimate aerodynamic design, which combines extremely low drag coefficient and strong downforce, breaking the boundaries of aerodynamic efficiency.
The vehicle cockpit adopts the shape of suspended water droplets, and the airflow can flow through the roof and through the bottom of the cockpit. The active chassis at the bottom adjusts the balance between downforce and wind resistance in real time. Unlike traditional active spoilers, this design guides airflow while keeping the body simple and complete.
Xiaomi chief designer Li Tianyuan emphasized: “Our philosophy is to achieve aerodynamic goals without relying on additional components. This philosophy requires us to pursue ‘less is more’, and almost every design must have an aerodynamic function, not just for aesthetics."
In terms of the cockpit, this concept car uses Xiaomi's panoramic display sky screen and supports linkage between people, cars and homes. Watch health information can be directly synchronized to the car display. In addition, the center island adopts a solid button design, the air conditioner is a round pointer knob, and the gear handle is shaped like an airplane pushrod.
