Recently, foreign media reported that with the withdrawal of Netflix, Paramount is expected to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery for US$110 billion. If this transaction goes through, Paramount will control a number of well-known studios and IPs in the game business, including:

1. Avalanche Software: "Hogwarts Legacy"

2. NetherRealm Studios: "Mortal Kombat" and "Injustice" series
3. Rocksteady Studios: "Batman: Arkham" series

4. Warner Bros. Games Montreal: "Gotham Knights"
5. Portkey Games: "Harry Potter: Quidditch Fighter"
6. TT Games: It owns multiple studios and is responsible for the distribution and development of Lego-related content.
7. Warner Bros. Games Boston: "Dungeons and Dragons Online"
8. Warner Bros. Games New York: Building online features and web-based communities for video games
9. Warner Bros. Games San Francisco: Focus on the development of its mobile and free games
Warner Bros.’ game division ushered in a reorganization last year, canceling multiple projects such as “Wonder Woman” and closing three studios: Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and WB SAN Diego. Its future focus will be on the core IPs of "Harry Potter", "Mortal Kombat", "DC Batman" and "Game of Thrones".
