According to China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the group is actively promoting the development of two types of reusable main rockets with different technical paths. Jiang Jie, a representative of the National People's Congress and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, said that developing reusable launch vehicles is the only way to achieve large-capacity, low-cost, and high-efficiency access to space, but there is still a gap between my country and China in achieving the goal of engineering application.
China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation is making every effort to accelerate breakthroughs in key technologies and achieve the success of recovery and reuse of reusable rocket sub-stages as soon as possible, laying a solid technical foundation for subsequent engineering applications.
In February this year, the low-altitude demonstration and verification flight test of the Long March 10 rocket was successfully carried out, in which the rocket's first sub-stage successfully completed the return flight and controlled splashdown at sea, marking a substantial and critical step in my country's breakthrough and mastery of reusable rocket technology.
In the future, our country will also complete the official maritime network recovery of the first-class rocket body.
Based on this, facing the strategic needs of large-scale low-cost entry into the space,China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation is actively promoting the development of two types of reusable main rockets with different technical paths, accelerating the breakthrough of my country's space access capabilities and efficiency, and at the same time conducting preliminary verification and accumulating engineering experience for the development of heavy-duty rockets.
Jiang Jie said that facing the future, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation will continue to speed up the research and development of reusable rockets and heavy-lift rockets, and promote the upgrading of technology level and efficiency.
