The classic sequel "The Devil Wears Prada 2" released new official stills today. Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway reunited for the first time in 20 years, recreating the classic showdown between screen enemies.

In Collider's exclusive spring preview event, a still photo that made fans around the world excited was officially exposed: Miranda Presley, the "Devil" played by Streep, and former assistant Andy Sachs, played by Hathaway, met head-on on the streets of New York. Judging from the stills, Andy still carries the familiar awe and apprehension, while Miranda is as majestic and cold as ever.

This highly anticipated sequel features an all-star cast. In addition to Streep and Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci have also confirmed their return and will continue to play their classic roles. The newly added lineup is equally dazzling: Kenneth Branagh and popular "Bridgerton" actress Simone Ashley will join.
What is even more reassuring for fans is that the core team behind the scenes has also returned: David Frankel once again took the shot, and original producer Wendy Fairman and screenwriter Erin Brosh McKenna once again joined forces to ensure the quality of this sequel.

Regarding her return for the sequel, Emily Blunt recently shared her shocking feelings about returning to the set in an interview. "Of course I had people quoting lines from the movie all the time, but it wasn't until I got back on set that I really realized how much this movie meant to people," Blunt said. "We felt that impact every day, and everyone was like, 'Oh my God.'"

The original The Devil Wears Prada is one of the most memorable comedies of the 21st century, earning Streep an Oscar nomination for Best Actress and Patricia Field taking home the Best Costume Design Award. This film, which cost only US$35 million to produce, grossed US$326 million at the global box office, and its influence continues to this day. "The Devil Wears Prada 2" will be officially released in North American theaters on April 26.
